Citing Code

Using or adapting code from another source, including open source, without citing or crediting the developer is considered plagiarism. Similarly to writing an academic paper, you must cite the source of the code, even if it is only a snippet. When using open source software, you also need to follow the terms of the open source license that is applied to the copied code.
