Container Gardening

Grow what you eat; and eat what you grow. Information and resources for growing herbs, veggies and other plants.

About

We provide the seeds; you provide the soil, water and TLC. Just like other library resources, the seed library shares its resources with our university community. Seeds in our collection have been donated or acquired in order to provide opportunities to enjoy homegrown produce, herbs and flowers and to promote health and well-being. Seeds are from reputable and certified companies. Seeds have been repackaged into smaller bundles for you to check out.

How It Works

  • Fill out the form at https://fullsail.libwizard.com/f/seeds to request a seed starter kit.
  • Indicate the type of mini starter garden you want (Easy herbs, Italian/Mediterranean Cooking, Latin Flavors, or Salad Bowl).
  • Limit one seed kit per person to ensure sufficient supplies for anyone who's interested.
  • Stop in the library within 3 business days of being notified your seed kit is ready to pick up.
  • Plant, grow and harvest.
  • Show us your container garden. Email photos to library@fullsail.com and we'll post them in a photo gallery.
  • While supplies last! Additional kits will become available later in the Florida growing season. Watch Full Sail One or this guide for announcements.

Yes! As long as you can pick up from the library.

Can I donate seeds to the seed library?

We're grateful for your donations. However we can only accept seeds in their original sealed manufacturer's package. You are, however, welcome to harvest and exchange your seeds with each other.
