Presidential Amendments

When the Founding Fathers wrote and ratified the United States Constitution, they could not have foreseen some of the issues their descendants might face. They provided the Constitutional Amendment process, a mechanism for change when it was needed or desired. Seven of the Amendments have directly made changes to the political process.
