Companies traded on the U.S. stock exchanges are required by law to file quarterly and annual reports. These are excellent sources of information about the company and its holdings. Annual reports provide information about the past fiscal year and guidance for the upcoming fiscal year.
Using Company Websites
Publicly traded companies include corporate financial information on their websites. Look for pages entitled Investor Relations. They will include information such as investor reports and news, corporate governance, forms, and other resources on the corporate financial health. For example see The Walt Disney Company. The Investor Relations page includes real-time financial data.
